Lim bay

The fascinating sea bay, which penetrates as much as 12.8 kilometers into the interior of the peninsula, offers a truly unique experience for rowers. Its almost vertical green cliffs on the sea surface create exceptional views throughout the day, and rowing here is possible both in summer and in winter. The benefits of the Mediterranean climate provide ideal conditions for training in various rowing sports throughout the year, which also provides more than a third of pleasant days for rowers.

The Lim bay is located close to Rovinj and Vrsar and its accommodation facilities, which are only a 15-minute drive away, and unhindered entry of boats into the sea is ensured on a well-maintained pontoon. Over the past few years, the Lim bay has become a reference meeting place for the best teams from different countries – Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Romania and Croatia.
The unusual natural channel is the first choice of numerous rowing clubs for sports training, and its characteristics offer ideal conditions for holding preparations for participation in international competitions and top championships.
